The amazing blue-green color of Sage Thrasher eggs. This nest was found in the branches of a sagebrush. Sage Thrashers are specific to sage brush habitats, and rely on dense cover for nesting sites. Population density estimates are approximately 2 pairs per 40 acres. Brewer sparrows are present as well in good numbers.
